The Crusader force were waiting to escort the pilgrim on the final leg of their journey, but they were intercepted by a force of Seljuk Turks trying to prevent this and wanting some plunder.

28mm. both sides from my collection, with mainly Perrys and some Gripping beast metal and plastics. We went a bit bigger in points 552 & 554.

By turn 5 the Turks had lost 17 Points and the Crusaders lost 10.

The Seljuks had lost half their army and fled the field, allowing the pilgrims to finish their journey to the holy land.

Win to god's forces this time
