Allah Will's it!
The crusades had always been a fascination of mine and back in 2014, I decided to build a Crusader and a Saracen army. The project took three year to complete painting over 1100 figures, 300 horses and all the bits and bobs that go with them.
Here is the story of my building my Muslim army.
At Salute, our club open day I dipped my toes in.

The first of many Arabs.
Have now glued 40 Arabs together, will undercoat white and will try some washes to give lots of differing colours/ shades Construction of first box, Standard bearer and Officer with bits from Fire Forge Sergeants box.
Skin done- undercoat Black and Humbrol 186 Brown for skin tone
And some Hatt for comparison. Incidently, these would be perfect for Lord of the Rings Easter armies.

The beginnings of the Cavalry 24 "heavy" Muslim Cavalry by Perrys, which will make two units and 4 commanders. All horses are painted with oils.
