Here is the 15mm Macedonians that I purchased and now needs re-basing for Sword & Spear rules. Painted by the very talented Mark Davies (but don't you dare tell him that)
And the bases will all be one piece with 80mm frontage, depth according to troop type
I will work out how many points this army makes in S&S as the project progresses, as I want to pack the bases with a lot of troops, not your standard three in a row cavalry here, no sir!
I started with the elephants as I only had twelve to re-base, I have added some skirmishers to the base.
I also started a pike phalanx base and a Companion impact cavalry base. Both on deep bases,
Rebased these since beginning of the
month. This will end up as about 3 armies as the points of the complete
army is just short of 1800 points.
All old 15mm Chariot Miniatures and
Essex Some will need sarrisas and spears relacing. All Based for Sword
and Spear. Will end up with about 56 units.
